SEASCAPE // Lorne, Victoria

When Autumn floats by in our industry we see beautiful changes in flowers and foliage at the market, in particular with Hydrangeas and foliage. Watching this process of the seasons changing was something I wanted to capture in this shoot and we were fortunate enough to do this in fresh country air, just a few hours out of Melbourne.

The McNab and Son Orchard is located in Ardmona and has been in the family for generations. Mitch, who now runs the farm, specialises in Pink Lady Apples and other apple varieties, pears and stone fruits. It was a dream to see this come to life on his farm just days out from picking. When we locked in the date we knew it was touch and go if we would have apples or not and when we turned up on the day, the orchard was covered in an abundance of beautiful Pink Lady apples, it was a dream come true!

Thank you Mitch for having us, your kindness and hospitality on the day was nothing short of a very warm country welcome.

This shoot was in collaboration with some of Melbourne’s finest in the events industry; some of our personal favourites. The wonderful Chloe from Chloe May Photography, Alexandra from One Mimosa Please and Cloth and Confetti for the most divine linens.

A HUGE thank you to those who were involved and helped bring this vision of mine to life. It is always a team effort and a privilege to work with likeminded creatives.

Many thanks to Simona, Chloe, Alexandra xx
